I started my career as a Maricopa County public defender. That work teaches you something you cannot learn anywhere else: how to stand next to a person on the worst day of their life, stay calm, and fight for them anyway. I carry that into every divorce I handle.
Somewhere along the way I realized how many women walk into divorce feeling outmatched — unsure what they are entitled to, talked over, or quietly steered toward less than their fair share. Arizona is a community-property state. You have a right to what you built. The work is making sure you actually receive it, and that is the work I chose.
You have a right to a fair share. Let’s make sure you get it.
How I work
Warm and direct, never condescending. I will not talk down to you, and I will not sell you “aggressive, pit-bull” theatrics — loud is not the same as effective. What I will do is tell you the truth about where you stand, lay out the next 30 days in plain language, and answer every question you have. There is no meter running on our first call.
I keep my practice focused on women, in Phoenix and Scottsdale, because focus is how you get good. When you work with me, you work with me — not a rotating desk of associates.
